BIRTH SIMULATOR that could reduce childbirth mortality rates in developing countries

Norwegian designers created the devices with the aim of reducing the number of newborn babies and mothers that die just after giving birth with a trio of affordable products aimed at helping to save lives in countries where preventable birth-related deaths is greatest as many midwives do not access to  education or training.

The concept, which combines industrial design and education, was dreamed up by Laerdal Global Health in response to the shocking statistic that 3,000 newborn babies die from birth asphyxia along with 1,000 birthing mothers every day.

'The Natalie Collection' comprises a birthing simulator, suction device and newborn simulator to provide practical training in a bid to help reduce the number of newborn babies and mothers that die just after giving birth - two of the UN's Millennium Development Goals.

Sharing a life in a Message of Sadness

My mom to describe is  like solving a 100 pieces map picture puzzle, she loves to clean, read and talks anything about everything, she is a strong believer of the golden rules "DON'T DO UNTO OTHERS WHAT YOU DON'T WANT OTHERS DO UNTO YOU", growing up is not entirely perfect but such rule has become a part of me all the days of my life.

Going back into the topic, I don’t consider our bond as a supper glue since, I did not grew up with her, but perhaps I would call it an instinct understanding between mom & daughter, My whole childhood and teen memories was filled with so many people who randomly comes and go, I may not understand every corners of my destiny but episode of growing up  is a learning process, a reason to be tough and yearn for better life…

It was only when I graduated college and finally decided to travel abroad I felt I have a family, a mom who truly cares for me, The feeling is unexplainable, there was a doubt, pain and hatred but when I turned the table and see my kids growing up, I fully understand her, I have become the person I am today because of her sacrifices, She gave her life to us even if it takes a gap between us  

I’m writing this because last night upon receiving a call about the sudden death of my friend’s mom I was in pain and helpless as I am miles away not able to be with my friend, there is nothing more painful than seeing your mom lifeless

Mothers are special gift from God, We can always choose a friend but we can never choose our mom, we do not understand them in many ways but somehow in time we realized that what they want is just what’s best for us….

My condolences to the family of my Best friend Vince Misa,  Be strong, I know your mom is happy to be with our creator now… so hang in there and keep the happy memories of your mom in your heart....

Life, Family & Mom....

Had a phone chat with my good friend, an hour ago, basically, the chat is not the typical hello & good bye ….God bless…may the force be with you!!  Blas blah.. you know !  not the tupperware ,  orracan kind of bluff, ( no no no… not for us!!)  ..… But it’s a conversation of two young adult perhaps mommies!! Desperate to get an air, I describe it as fun, loud laughs, pain, hearsays and reminiscing...…   as I always quote,” I will not be who I am today if not because of my past…”

Bit sad to hear few changes/things in her life (I don’t have to share it here!! It’s too personal)  but I guess, being a mother  that she is, lead her to be tough and amazingly strong for herself & her family, indeed, I was really impress how she handle it well and how love survive distance and loneliness…..!   

Two things, I’ve learned:

THE BASIC:  FAMILY & MOTHER!!...

1.)      Family is the basic unit of society; it is the foundation of who we are and what the hell is wrong with you kind of thing!!! –  “ Family “ are the very  people who knows you well, hurt you because they want you to learn, comfort you when you don’t listen,  laugh at your “ not so funny jokes “ , walks with you in circle of life and loves you  unconditionally even if you fart so loud in front of them!!    Friend’s maybe forever but Family is just everlasting!  (That’s how strong she built her family’s foundation! - there you go sis!!))

2.)    Mother is the best & hardest job in the world, it takes extensive time to appreciate their job, advises and existence, when we were young we don’t really understand their importance and the part of share they shed in our lives, we often think that they intrude so much that we almost felt like they’re living our lives, they asked nothing but appreciation , hugs & kisses that is hard for us to give

Now that I’m a MOTHER, I realize my karma is myself, and then, I knew how hard it is to be mom and how wonderful it is to be child with a mom like my MOM……

I MISS YOU MOM!

AND

Damn! Miss you SIS!  Soooo  glad to hear your super duper pathetic, craziness, extreme, loud, scary voice….!  Be strong and everything happens for a reason.. So go on...

Commit suicide wwould take all the pain away! hehehe! Joke!! But Kidding aside,

I envy your strong will to take the hardest decision in life….  I had fun and hope to see you soon!!
