As the horse season comes to an end, Monday racing has become more intense than ever! Last Monday racing was soooooooo much fun that every race was like a blast!! There is more cheering than every other Monday, and even I feel like I'm part of them as they watch the horses near the finish line! I wish the WINTER season in Kuwait would never end!
I recently saw a post on Facebook. Nonetheless, I feel compelled to post it because creative thinking such as this deserves a place on my blog. In the ERA where poverty and hunger are at their highest.
The idea is both practical and healthy at the same time. It's better to give something healthy and consumable rather than flowers that will dry up in days or extra-sweet chocolate because WHY NOT?! I can only see a woman who appreciates this kind of gift as someone worth keeping. Whether this is someone independent with a motherly mindset is unknown to me. It is just my personal observation.
Ok Fine!!! while Parking my car at the SOUK, saw this strange looking thing... I thought, it is some kind of a witch craft/black magic thingy... I know, what you're thinking....I'm soooo offf right now!!! maybe a good individual did this to help this poor little plant to stand and survive!! and here I am... judging it to be BLACK!! OMG!! am I so bad???
For some REASON, I just feel
very weird today, Early morning I
started doing my usual home chores that includes the laundry, I put on the
dirty clothes into our automatic washer, then proceeded to do other things, in 20 minutes time…I suddenly remember, I did not put the laundry soap and fabric softener so I went back to the laundry room, turn the machine offand fill the soap and softener press the start buttonand leave,I then standingright outside of
the laundry room thinking what should I do NEXT, I’m in total block-out
like a sudden AMESIA!!,I walked slowly
into the kitchen turn on the kettle for hot water, still thinking what was am doingbefore, in an unconscious effort,
I proceeded to make my coffee walked towards the living room with the mug of coffee in my hand, I stopped right in front of
the TVlooking at the video of
streetfoods played thru youtube, I then sip the coffee and got surprised how the hell I made the
coffee!!!By then, in my mind, I might be in some kind of spell or something, It was crazy!!!! It scared me to
death!! I went running to the bathroom
as I am almost late for work, a warm bath as always makes me feel calm, as I
went out after a shower, it appears to me the things I’ve done the entire
morning, by which, I also remember that the vacuum is still in the living
room!! with 20mins time limit, I have to fix all and get myself ready...
As I was sitting in my desk, I came to realized that when I am STRESSED and caught with so many
things in mind, it creates chaos in my navigating system, instead of doing one at a time, it distracted me from doing the
right thing and block out from reality, my worst experience once, is shopping and forgot
my k-net pin, all these that is happening to me bothers me so I
talk to a professional as I feel that it is something I have to consult with and I was told that stress is one of many reason why we have
that GAP, we think too much that our body and mind do not synch, STRESS and OVERTHINKING can caused many health problems and accidents. even caused, DEATH to many.
That is why it is recommended that every once in a while
we have to seat back, do meditations, rest, read good books, do things that we likethat makes us calm and stress-free, don’t let stress conquer our well-being. MONEY is not everything!! it's HEALTH!!
I always remind my staff and co-workers that
HEALTH is very important, work can replaced us anytime if we do not function the
way they want, sotake care of your overall health!!! Prioritize your health above all things!
After opening my first ever small gift shop in Kuwait, I decided to join StreetFood BUGSHA market, it's one of the biggest 3 days local fair, showcasing the best street foods and creative
products from local retail shops,I’m an avid fan of fairs and exhibits, I should say that, this particular organization is definitely a winner,
very organize and the marketing itself is superb!! One big clap to the whole
team!!
So let me take you to the whole process and experience of
being part of the event, It's amazing how universe find its way to make things
POSSIBLE!! DREAMS do COME true!!
DAY 1 – THURSDAY
For first timer like me, well, not fully "first timer" I've joined fairs several times I’m actually not very new to this, but for some reason, I felt so
pressured and stress when I just want to Enjoy
the experience and make a lot of money (lols),so the on the1st day, the
excitement turn to sour because I was sick, I’m on duty at my regular work and the worst is, I did not prepare my things… I felt like I was on the verge of falling
apart!! , the organizer called me as I am the one booth who did not do
decorations with only 3 hours to the opening, I’m
super stress and physically weak on the first day that I have to share same stress to my husband
and sister, because that’s what family for!! we shared the stress!!! Hahahaha….. Hubby
went extra mile taking off from work just to get the stocks from the shop, and
my sister with her hubby which coincidently on short vacation they are free as
a bird, they drove extra fast to gather decorations and get things done… in
short my first day was a disaster and a miracle, I dearly
witnessed the love and care of the people I called family, we managed to pull
things off with very limited resources, went on displayjust in-TIME…. And Surprisingly sell many
things on the first day!!
By the way, NBK was one of the Major sponsor yet it super hard to get their assistance even if I am as well an NBK customer for years, I was applying for certificate to get K-NET service via TAP, I visited my branch to submit documents and do follow-up, their response is to wait for 5-7 days which is already after the show, (not even certain if they are going to approve) it's crazy!!!
For First timers/joiners and you want to have the KNET service, GULF BANK and BOUBYAN BANK are very accommodating and fast, have all your documents prepared and submit, it takes 2-3 days to issue the certificate. Highly recommended specially for EXPATS, you won't feel any discrimination at all!
DAY 2 -3 – FRIDAY & SATURDAY
After all the first day drama and mistakes, I’ve learneda lot, so I woke up early, or better yet I
did not sleep the entire night, preparing things, I close the shop
temporarily for 2 days and apply for
early leave at work so I canfocus on
the last two days of the event,
We started very early and multitasked (eating while working hehehe) till we are fully
satisfied with the designs and decoration, I was so ready and well prepared on
the 2nd day, as the exhibit opened I can feel my energy comes into
very positive state,the
entire family was with me , all out support!!!
I always believed that, when preparation meets opportunity it’s a bomb!!! And
that’s what I felt in that instant!! It feels good to do your thing with the
people who sincerely support your passion!!
Overall, it was a great experience, super TIRING but it’s all
worth it… should I’ll be joining the next one???Well, not now…I super need rest, and I know, I still have to fully prepared
and commit myself entirely because joining such event is not easy, its physically and mentally tensed but every after challenges is worthwhile!!!Perhaps,
in the next season I will be back!!
Thank you so much STREETFOOD event for the experience!!!! and
to my FAMILY, you are all that I
have,I am blessed and grateful to have such amazing people supporting and
sincerely loving me for who I truly amand
in the craziest things I want to do in life!!
It overwhelms me to learn that young generations or even adults are now incline into crystals, according to an article posted on theGuardian.com, crystals industry years ago were not big deal that surprisingly In 2017, the New York Times heralded “the great crystal boom” .
“New Age” beliefs and holistic approach in life has risen across the board, Crystal industry has flourish not just doubled but in 100 folds, observe the increased of crystal post and hastags in popular social media platforms and more on-line businesses has jive into the popularity and demands.
but is it worth all the hype and trend??? does anyone really have that magical experience on crystals???
In my previous blog, I've shared about my first ever published book, I'm still in a bliss thinking how my long time dream of having a book of my own has finally come true and it is thru crystals that I was able to manifest my dream.
This year has been a turning point for me, not only I discovered more about myself but also see things differently, working with crystals and stones for long time had brought into some degree of understanding about the universe and who I truly am and I never realized all these when I was young but over the years the more I focus on my studies and works on crystals I dig deeper and had explored into a broader dimensions of life. I am indeed a crystal fanatic and a believer.
But going back to basic, social medias in all its popular platforms and famous people who are into crystals plays a vital role in the massive change on how crystals being projected in the eyes and mind of the people, somehow, it makes think, if everyone really is believing in the energy of crystals or simply just want to surf into the wave just for the hype without even knowing its essentials.
so for those who wants to learn about crystals, do not hesitate to drop a comment or get in touch, i'll be happy to assist you, or buy my book #ROCKWIZZE ultimate beginner's guide on crystal
I still have to visit this event today, for sure, I'll be seeing my colleagues later our company might be part of this as well on equestrian outdoor sports category... For outdoor sport and safari adventure enthusiast, If you have free time today till 22nd, visit the exhibit at Mishrif Fairground Hall 8
Motherhood
had brought me into a different taste of life, my kids inspires me every day
even the slightest effort they do it makes my heart smile, I’m not the kind of
mother who spoiled and surrender to all my kids wants and demands, I always
have that balance to be tough when I needed to pull a plug for them to be
better in many aspects of their lives.
Just
like last night, when hubby brought a play station at home, in my mind it’s
gonna be war, I don’t want to play the villain role, I just want my kids to
focus more on their studies than playing games, I’ve seen many cases of kids
getting destructed in school due to gadgets including the play-station, I don’t
want to them to be destructed.
To cut
the story short, I thought I’m strong enough to handle my kids and hubby's plead but
there is something beyond emotions that leads me to let go of my fears as long
as restrictions and schedules are properly implemented at home and within the family,
it is something we called the art of compromise
and the
super ending is that, I super enjoy the play station myself playing table
tennis and other sporty games, I sometimes get too serious competing with hubby
to the point of playing the game with sporty costume, not only that, we bought
more games for me and hubby to play.. hahahah beat that!!!
