KANE MOCHI CAFE in Salmiya -- I love Mochi Ice Cream

I am planning to visit japan soon that's why every little opportunity to experience Japan in the state of Kuwait is a delight. I Japanesely love anything especially if there is kawaii in it!

I never had the chance to visit them ever since KANEMOCHI cafe opened its door., though, in every moment I think that it is Japanese like cafe with Mochi Ice cream keeps my excitement to the highest level, but mind you, it took me a year to free my schedule and visit the cafe (my gawdddddd) hahahahaha...

Mochi Ice cream, which by the way, according to wikipedia:

Mochi ice cream is a small, round confection consisting of a soft, pounded sticky rice dumpling (mochi) formed around an ice cream filling. The ice cream flavors the confection while the mochi adds sweetness and texture. The traditional Ice cream flavors used are vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.

My visit yesterday in the cafe is such a wonderful experience, less crowd and we are able to explore the entire cafe, their Mochi Ice Cream really is, something to try, I love the taro, Choco mint and vanilla flavors.

The cafe offers variety of sandwiches and flavored coffees at a very reasonable prices.

If you happen to be in Salmiya area, visit them at the 4th floor of Dalal Complex.

Textile & Fabric Souk in Kuwait

There are lots of things to be thankful, I woke up today with a great smile knowing that my eldest son is finishing his grade 1 in school with distinctions, as a parent I could never be so proud of him well, all of my kids that is,  for their achievement small or big I’m always been their number 1 fan … I can’t help sharing it for my heart is so overwhelmed with great joy…

Anyway,  I got a wonderful gift weeks ago , it’s a pink electric sewing machine, I’m a frustrated tailor and its always been my wish to at least sew a simple dress for myself and now for my daughter,  I was exploring from one store to another finding a not-so-expensive fabric for my “trial & error”  sessions and oh!! Before I forget, I have lots of thimbles prepared just in case I needed a shield for my fingers, as you know my eyes are little bit blurry so I’ll be needing a whole lots of protection, I’m a bit scared to continue with this venture due to my blurry sight but I feel I needed this to overcome something …

so back to the topic....

I was beleaguered to the highest level when I step into the heaven of textiles and fabric place located in Kuwait city, I never been into a place full of breathtaking fabrics with all kinds of accessories,  price ranging from the cheapest price you can imagine to the most expensive ones , it’s one dream place for tailors and beginners like  me…..

Now, soooo excited  and sooo I'm looking forward to create my very first dress or whatever it is I make ( hope it's wearable), but surely, i'll post it here for a share!!!
