POTATA Spicy Biscuit! Super Yummy

 Small, everyday things make my day wonder-filled! In our company, we have a tradition of sharing food. Every month, I purchase wholesale biscuits and put them in a box  for everyone to take.  it's like a first aid kit for hunger (lolz) and vice versa. They also bring finger foods and share them.

This RED POCKET biscuit I received this morning surprised me. I was expecting some type of biscuit, but it was delicious! It's like eating chips in biscuit form! It's not sweet, it's actually a bit spicy, but it's awesome! 

I honestly don't know where to buy, just in-case you see this red pocket biscuit in any grocery store in kuwait, GRAB one!! u'll thank me for sure....

Pony Racing @ the Hunting & Equestrian Club

 Had a great time watching the kid's pony race at the Hunting and Equestrian Club in Sabhan.

TWO races were held for Junior and Small kids riders. It was a blast! I laughed and screamed the whole time!! It was an awesome experience. 

The ponies and kids are all safe and sound!

Kuwait Achieved NEW WORLD record for the Largest Bisht in the WORLD

 Another world record added to Kuwait's new Guinness Book of Records for the LARGEST BISHT, 

It is measured 16 x 17meters in size which is larger than the last record hold by SAUDI ARABIA , completed in 48 days by Al Baghli Exhibition 

The exhibit and awarding ceremony was held at 360mall

As someone who has worked in the equestrian industry for years, I have learned a lot about horses. They are loving, lovable, and gentle creatures. Although I cannot afford to own one, being a part of an industry where I can be of service to these beautiful creatures is more than enough for me!

It seems like a pretty interesting activity when I see it on my Instagram feed!

 Ever since I tried this lokmat ice cream from AL KANAFANI, I always crave it!!! This ice cream has a crunchiness and buttery taste, with soft chewy ice cream inside! I super love it!!

WANASA BEACH!! one of the BEST Family Short break!

HORSE SEASON almost ending!

 

As the horse season comes to an end, Monday racing has become more intense than ever! Last Monday racing was soooooooo much fun that every race was like a blast!! There is more cheering than every other Monday, and even I feel like I'm part of them as they watch the horses near the finish line! I wish the WINTER season in Kuwait would never end!

I can say that this year's winter is somewhat I truly enjoy, maybe becoz I’m getting older and matured I am becoming more appreciative of little things, like flowers, weather, coffee and many more, I don’t usually see these things as I feel it’s just part of my routine but after COVID and so many traumatic experiences, I came to a point where sunshine, water or air is just as important as living a life every single day.

One day, I woke into a cold foggy morning!! I smiled and Thank God for the moment, I hurriedly get dress for work, drive myself into the invisibility of the weather, it’s AMAZING!!!  I felt like I’m in another realm, so peaceful and heavenly!

 Enjoy every moment of Everyday, Take chances and live your life!!!

 

NetFlix Addiction: The SUIT

I never been so deeply devoted and crazy over US TV series than the SUITS, my husband accidentally press the play button and everything just flow forward!!! the entire family easily fell in love with it,  it's been months of non-stop watching till we finally reached the end of it few hours ago, its feels so empty that we no longer share the living room to watch THE SUITS,  not only I fell in-love with the entire cast but at some point I see myself being totally inspired with the women in the series, how BADASS!! with class specially Jessica omg!! when she throw her lines!! she is AMAZINGGGGG to the highest level.

This series is a smart, fun, loving, aggressive and very informative with comedy on side, something I am really fond of, I am indeed surprised to see my kids also loving the series it's been a month of non-stop watching  I feel that it becomes part of our routine, I love Donna all the way, the entire cast were perfectly chosen,  delivered and lived up to their roles. 

This TV series really inspired me to be better, to be confident and to find my way in and out of the impossible!! a highly recommended show for all!!

Hope there is more to look forward than the ending of SEASON 10....

KANE MOCHI CAFE in Salmiya -- I love Mochi Ice Cream

I am planning to visit japan soon that's why every little opportunity to experience Japan in the state of Kuwait is a delight. I Japanesely love anything especially if there is kawaii in it! 

 I never had the chance to visit them ever since KANEMOCHI cafe opened its door., though, in every moment I think that it is Japanese like cafe with Mochi Ice cream keeps my excitement to the highest level, but mind you, it took me a year to free my schedule and visit the cafe (my gawdddddd) hahahahaha...

Mochi Ice cream, which by the way, according to wikipedia:

Mochi ice cream is a small, round confection consisting of a soft, pounded sticky rice dumpling (mochi) formed around an ice cream filling. The ice cream flavors the confection while the mochi adds sweetness and texture. The traditional Ice cream flavors used are vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.

My visit yesterday in the cafe is such a wonderful experience, less crowd and we are able to explore the entire cafe, their Mochi Ice Cream really is, something to try, I love the taro, Choco mint and vanilla flavors.

The cafe offers variety of sandwiches and flavored coffees at a very reasonable prices.

If you happen to be in Salmiya area, visit them at the 4th floor of Dalal Complex.

Trying to be Healthy in Kuwait

Last week, I  unexpectedly having that feeling of starting a diet plan but you know, it's very common for me to break all that fuzz easily and get back to my usual freakin' unhealthy habits... (sorry...)

Anyway, I was at the grocery to find something healthy and found these healthy foods on the shelves, its funny because I just want to try that fancy feeling of buying healthy foods in beautiful packaging, (hell yeah! its great for Instagram!! hahaha), but beyond my excuses, it's actually really delicious, I super love the combination of the chicken Ceasar salad and the eat-clean chicken Cajun sandwich and it's not that expensive, I can probably maintain having these meals on my everyday budget. Not bad at all...! yummy start for me then!

I read once  that" to be successful you must first conquer yourself before you conquer your dreams",  

After having kids, I suddenly have that struggle to get back in shape, imagine my frustration seeing myself in 75kgs with acne all over my face, I battled my postpartum depression by myself not knowing where I am heading, there was a point in my life where I have to question myself if I have made the right decisions, I'm a free spirited person, I love to travel, do things on my own, creative in so many ways, loner and most of all lazy, yes!! I'm lazy, growing up with grandparents makes one very lazy and special at the same time.  

I don't use to having someone mandate me and get jealous when I want to make time for myself, it's too much for me to take but I have conquered all these frustrations by looking into it in a positive way, I have accepted the fact that, destiny has brought me here and that I am gifted with the opportunities to experience life and become an instrument of life. I owe it to my creator to be grateful for what I have become and what I can offer to the world.

I know, I still have a lot to learn and roads to take, I must conquer myself before I conquer my dreams, here's a pledge to myself that from today, I will follow the 5 second rule, that is to listen to my heart and inner self, to take things one step at a time, to start living a life and follow my heart's desire. I know it's not easy, not even desirable at my stage, but I absolutely up for the challenge. I have a clear vision of myself, the things I want to pursue and I want to do in my life, I will not allow any negative thoughts in me nor into my system. 

for all the working moms out there, let this be a day that we all stand for what we want to do in life, to become the best mother, wife and a person we want to become, let's begin by working on our plans to become successful in many aspects of our lives.  let this be the day that we can say: I AM WORTHY OF SUCCESS AND I SHALL CONQUER MYSELF.
