POTATA Spicy Biscuit! Super Yummy

 Small, everyday things make my day wonder-filled! In our company, we have a tradition of sharing food. Every month, I purchase wholesale biscuits and put them in a box  for everyone to take.  it's like a first aid kit for hunger (lolz) and vice versa. They also bring finger foods and share them.

This RED POCKET biscuit I received this morning surprised me. I was expecting some type of biscuit, but it was delicious! It's like eating chips in biscuit form! It's not sweet, it's actually a bit spicy, but it's awesome! 

I honestly don't know where to buy, just in-case you see this red pocket biscuit in any grocery store in kuwait, GRAB one!! u'll thank me for sure....

It is measured 16 x 17meters in size which is larger than the last record hold by SAUDI ARABIA , completed in 48 days by Al Baghli Exhibition

 It's been awhile since my last visit to Murooj. Actually, my work location is just 5 minutes away from Murooj but I always forget to drop by or am too tired when I see cars lining up to get into the parking

Horses and Yoga-- WEEKEND Thing to do

 

As someone who has worked in the equestrian industry for years, I have learned a lot about horses. They are loving, lovable, and gentle creatures. Although I cannot afford to own one, being a part of an industry where I can be of service to these beautiful creatures is more than enough for me!

It seems like a pretty interesting activity when I see it on my Instagram feed!

Practicality at it's BEST!! VEGETABLE Bouquet

 I recently saw a post on Facebook. Nonetheless, I feel compelled to post it because creative thinking such as this deserves a place on my blog. In the ERA where poverty and hunger are at their highest.

The idea is both practical and healthy at the same time. It's better to give something healthy and consumable rather than flowers that will dry up in days or extra-sweet chocolate because WHY NOT?! I can only see a woman who appreciates this kind of gift as someone worth keeping. Whether this is someone independent with a motherly mindset is unknown to me. It is just my personal observation.

BlackMagic False Alarm!!!

 

Ok Fine!!! while  Parking my car at the SOUK, saw this strange looking thing... I thought, it is some kind of a witch craft/black magic thingy...  I know, what you're thinking....I'm soooo offf right now!!!  maybe a good individual did this to help this poor little plant to stand and survive!! and here I am... judging it to be BLACK!! OMG!! am I so bad???

STORY TIME: What is 1 Minute?!! Losing myself...

 Early morning at work, I found myself running to do my fingerprint attendance, It’s already 1 minute past the grace period, and in that moment, I am already super upset and panicking , in my mind, I could have parked in-front of the office then do the attendance instead of parking the car in my designated area that took me a minute late, as I reached my desk a warm brew coffee was already prepared then I start to question myself, why do I get upset??? 

What the heck is 1 minute? Would it be worth losing myself for 1 minute?

I'm glad someone gave me a coffee in advance everyone in the office knows me so well when I am upset or unhappy, they can either calm me down with a warm, steaming cup of coffee or some fried noodles. As the sun started to set, I took time to just sit and relax in the racing track, it is where I comfort myself and breathe, while walking up the stairs I noticed one of the pharmacy staff (our company's co-branch, a neighbourhood shop) was inside the car, he was watching youtube on this phone laughing like he was on his bed, he looks so comfortable inside his car making it as his very own bedroom, while the pharmacy was jampacked with so many customers, everyone was super busy, he remained unbothered!! 

Despite repeatedly checking to see if he would move or at least get out of the car and help, he just stayed keep watching movies and sleeping all day long. I was irritated witnessing all the laziness in-front of me so I asked him what he was doing when he was hired to work in the pharmacy as helper.

"He replied that he was only working PART-TIME and receiving a low salary of 180KD for 6 hours. ( take note: The company provided him with a private car for transport and free gasoline")

BEYOND shocked is all there is to react !!!! my eyebrow and heart beat keep rising, it has no more space to extent higher!!!!  how fat his skin to just say that!! when there are so many expats working 12-14 hours for 90kd without any other benefits!! every fils/cents and minute of that 90KD is their blood and sweat!

while this FU&^&% Hippo.... Watching movies on his phone, he sat in his car all day. He leaves for home before his working hours, claiming to be a part-time worker. I'm in disbelief that he defines working part-time as simply being present and choosing what to do! 

WHY would a company keep tracking each of us for every minute when they have a person who has a car and fuel expense under the company , comes to watch and continue his sleeps at work?  

Out of Curiosity, I asked people at the pharmacy why this person was taking advantage of the system. Then, I learned that his brother worked for one of the owners of the company as a PERSONAL DRIVER and Most of their relatives are all household workers at the owner's house, which means that this PART TIMER is completely trusted by the owner. Case closed! He's been here for a year and no one complains.

Honestly, I feel extremely frustrated and angry, but I also feel that I should pity him What is it about 180KD + Free CAR + Gasoline UNFAIR? perhaps it is his LUCK but sadly he took advantage of it!! he will never know the value of the things and opportunity until it is taken  away. DIVINE JUSTICE never sleeps.

So what is 1 minute less of my time?? I work with pride and integrity for 8-9 hours each day that 1 minute late feels like I have already disappointed the company.  I can go home with a clear conscience knowing that I have served my master to the best of my ability 

That's 1 minute!! See you tomorrow!! (lols)

I just happen to see it on my instagram feeds, a person suddenly stopped on the busy street of Farwaniya and fires shots, the scary thing is, for every shot there is somehow a wandering bullet,  how can a person avail a gun and carelessly used it in public.... why?!!

Watching Horse Racing in kuwait

I was one of many thinking that watching horse race is such a momentous,  a glam event with fab clothes  and over the top hats, I was expecting something like what I saw on TV specially races  like the Kentucky derby nor the Royal race events. 

So what's its like to watch Horse RACE in Kuwait, let me take you first hand!! lols..

Horse Racing happens every  Monday at the hunting and Equestrian club, it's public:  FREE admission, you just have to take the race track entrance ( at the back gate)  from 3:00pm to 6:00pm ,

 it's casual you can wear whatever is comfortable to you.

Since last year, been planning something for myself, something that keeps me motivated and create things out of passion, something that I truly love!!, it’s a year of preparation and planning and here I am today finally steeping into the reality of my dream, I know, I still have lots of things to do and trials to walk thru,  but I believed that there no greater glory than to serve the universe with kindness and compassion,  “ Ask and you shall receive, Seek and you shall find” these two motivating quote that keeps me going and it really works!! A simple rule I’ve discovered overtime…

From here, I will post all details on how to start the business, paperworks, formalities, legal process and so on, because honestly,  the legal process in starting a business in Kuwait is very tough and expensive,  somehow,  it will help those who are planning to open their business in Kuwait

NetFlix Addiction: The SUIT

I never been so deeply devoted and crazy over US TV series than the SUITS, my husband accidentally press the play button and everything just flow forward!!! the entire family easily fell in love with it,  it's been months of non-stop watching till we finally reached the end of it few hours ago, its feels so empty that we no longer share the living room to watch THE SUITS,  not only I fell in-love with the entire cast but at some point I see myself being totally inspired with the women in the series, how BADASS!! with class specially Jessica omg!! when she throw her lines!! she is AMAZINGGGGG to the highest level.

This series is a smart, fun, loving, aggressive and very informative with comedy on side, something I am really fond of, I am indeed surprised to see my kids also loving the series it's been a month of non-stop watching  I feel that it becomes part of our routine, I love Donna all the way, the entire cast were perfectly chosen,  delivered and lived up to their roles. 

This TV series really inspired me to be better, to be confident and to find my way in and out of the impossible!! a highly recommended show for all!!

Hope there is more to look forward than the ending of SEASON 10.... 

Whole Chicken Shortage in kuwait, what's the Fuzz?

I find it really strange and shocking to see a very less options of whole chicken in the groceries, it's been weeks of struggling to find the usual brand we are buying like SADIA, I am in disbelief  that, this time I really feel the impact,  frozen whole chicken is at the edge of shortage and on high price, I mean, what else we have to eat for a non-vegetarian average expat families in Kuwait, it's got to be chicken or fish, we are not more on beef and lamb,  so its like CHICKEN is our best option.  well, I guess I have to slowly introduce more veggies in our daily in-take, Inshallah! 

But this  sudden decrease in the supply affects not just the CHICKEN but the entire food industries, if you notice, Veggies started to increase its prices, even on seafoods and so on 

yet Salary still the same!!! what a mess!!! 😂😂😂😂

Life without NANNY, Products I've USED and Discover

More than 6 months now since our Nanny left for GOOD,  she is our last and we are forever grateful for her 12 years of service to our family.

Now, that I officially become SUPER Mom, I strive so hard to keep up with the household chores, kids , my business and work,  I cannot even imagine myself to be in this situation until it is really happening, I thought I was doomed but eventually, I realize that, WOW!! I'm strong!!, I involved my kids on process giving them responsibilities at home which makes my work extra convenience, oh!! I have to tap in my amazing husband as well, since, I cannot and will never be good at it,  COOKING..  this is where I failed big time, I don't know but cooking is not really for me, I'm only good in eating but cooking is another story,   you can hire me as TASTER in master chef but I will never be as good as my husband in cooking, that's the reason why choosing a partner that can cook makes a difference at home.

So going back, I guess, I wrote a lot again, just imagine talking to me personally, I'll be more than the commentator in sports or gossip news!! slay girl!! 

Anyway, for the past weeks, I was very much addicted to laundry, I love to iron clothes and do the laundry, the scent of the soap and downy makes me feel that I'm in heaven, I've enjoyed this task a lot more than anything, so what have I uncover aside from loving the TASK, well, I discover products which are cost and very effective all at the same time,  Having 5 members in the family actively taking a bath and changing clothes everyday, a 3kgs detergent soap is not enough to last a month, I do the laundry everyday and it's a constant whining for me whenever I have no more detergent to use, until I discover  this,👇

its 25kgs bag for 7KD, at first I was skeptical since it is not a known brand, but after using it for several rounds in the machine, it works amazingggggg!!!  it smells good and it bubbles more than my usual famous detergent,  this 25kgs bag last me over 2-3 months of using on a daily basis!! it's really great!! 

Last week, we went back to the store and I've seen kuwaiti families who are buying the same in bulk, it's almost out of stock when I get there, so I guess, there are many who already discover this before I do.

2ndly, I used to buy spray to help me straighten up wrinkled clothes when I do the iron,  thanks to tiktok, I was able to find ways how to make my own spray that make the clothes super smooth and smells super nice

 

This bottle right here is a mixture of a cup of DOWNY and Water, one full cover cup of DOWNY and put water to full the spray bottle and give it a  shake then ur DONE!! its super duper great!!!  it makes my iron routine extra easy and the clothes smells super nice  

LASTLY, A miracle spray that gives your home a smell of forest and fresh laundry,  I used to buy commercialize air freshener spray but it doesn't last long, this spray was a discovery, it smells so good, I sprayed it on a sofa cloth, blankets, inside the clothes cabinet, shoe cabinet and other places,  it is a super spray that smells really good and last that long

                                               You should try!! it's definitely for keeps

My new position at home, had lead me to discover more of my strength and be smart in many things, i'll be posting more and hope it helps!!
