Back in Kahve Dunyasi -- Turkish Cafe

It’s been a month since I visited this place, Turkish chocolates still lingers into my head (hehehhe),
I can be brat at times that even if my hubby is super tired I have to dramatically convince him to drive just to quench my curiosity of something that includes anything I would like to try and wants to back on....

So, we have our tea time in the café with chocolate tasting session, ohhhhh!! So great!!!!

Our Stay in Alyal Chalet- KUWAIT

It’s really good to have all the time in the world to do whatever you want with no deadlines to think about nor time to run after, this is not my first local annual leave but this is something different from the rest of my stay-cations, simply because this time I have created/listed lots of learning activities for myself and for the rest of the family for the entire 45 days of my stay at home.

Anyway, let me begin by writing about our experience the other day, we booked a 1-night stay in alyal chalet, honestly, this was not part of the plan but hubby and I feels that we needed a break after a very busy week.

As we arrived in the place, we thought of going back home immediately because we feel that we are not welcome in the community since, the entire village is exclusively for Kuwaitis or arabs and we are typical Asian family just wanting to have a peaceful stay far from the city area. After like, minutes of negotiating going back and forth to the manager’s office and a phone call to the higher management we were graciously welcome and admitted to our room.

Upon entering to our room, we were greeted by an amazing and lovely interior design, it's big/ spacious and very much convenient for the family with kids, they can freely ran around  and do their kids things.... hayyyyyy...we could only wish to have such property of our own I super love the entire set up.
To sum it up,  our entire stay was definitely amazing and we truly enjoy every moment we’ve been there, we had our boat ride and enjoy the pool, the peacefulness of the entire area is a perfect gateway that makes us love the place even more.

This is one good chalet that offers decent accommodation at a very peaceful and pleasant environment, truly a place to visit.

By the way, just a reminder that it is a self-service private chalet exclusively for FAMILIES ONLY, they have a strict policy of maintain Kuwaiti’s traditional family oriented environment.

again, Thank you Alyal Management for accepting us , I personally apologize if my booking.com rating is below your expectations but we sincere enjoy our stay!!!

Brain Investment is a wise Choice

I don’t consider myself as Tech-Savvy but I’m doing my best to get into the trend, I was at the student center a week ago to have a photocopies of my passport, needless to say, I was overwhelmed with the surrounding and I would really want to own a business that offers the same services but better environment in the future or perhaps tomorrow (I’m not in hurry bwahahahaha!!)

As I entered the shop, There was only one service crew in the counter area who do all the services from photocopying, laminating, faxing and so on… he was entirely loaded with the demands from all of us but he keeps his temper aside and show his smile instead but not until, a certain woman get into the picture, she was in a bad mood to begin with, talking to the service crew in her loud voice that she wanted to print something from her mobile.
The guy in the counter patiently told her to send it to their e-mail address pointing to the monitor in front of the lady so he can print. However, the lady started to get mad like a crazy lady shouting to her highest tone, saying, why it needs to be send by e-mail where he can just take her mobile instead and print, she insist that she don’t know how to use the e-mail, she do not have internet and she cannot send by e-mail, (but I remember hearing a phone call in viber tone on her phone)

I’m actually in a mode of silent, trying to keep myself in proper state of mind, The service crew continue to entertain other customers while the lady started using her phone to call her contacts and saying really nasty words, you can see the hesitation from other customers looking at her, after a few minutes this lady, when back in front of the counter and give the phone to the service crew, she was telling him it is his job and she want him to do it for her….
I was out of the shop after that and I really don’t know how to end the story but somehow, I pity the lady, I feel that when you have the latest gadgets in your hand and lots of money in your wallet, I guess, it is wise to invest a little for your brain to work and an attitude to go with it!!!

To the crew, I applaud you for being patient, you’ve done a great job!!! And I’m proud of you KABAYAN!!!!

Breakfast @ the ROOF

This is like one of the simple yet overwhelming breakfast experience.

THE ROOF resto at the ZONE gulf road near to Shaab Park, offers a buffet breakfast at a very reasonable price.

The interior design of the resto is very  warm and pleasant creating a perfect vibe for breakfast.
