Oh well,people in the internet go gaga on the" reality
show" of the year Johnny Depp Vs. Amber heard trial, I’m not saying I’m obsess butmy
everyday feeds on all my social media platforms are soo Johnny and Amber hype, I can’t help but to take a glance of it and
get into the trend,
In Philippines we have this name for women/mom/anyone who
likes to gossip :" MARITES"I am actually part of a whattsap Asian group in the companyname:DAILY MARITES GROUP in that group we gossip about so many things in and
out of the company,its funny how
professional everyone in the group getting all the juicy news and gossip at
work and international, as what they say, office is not fun at all without
gossip group, sothis AMBER – JOHNNY thing
came across as topic in the group and I was bursting with so much
laughterbecause the men in the group
are now proving their point that WOMENcan also be an abuser for a good men like them, I can only laugh because
they literally live for it, they feel that JOHNNY represent them , I picture
how they were bullied by their wivesand
how it is at home!!! Hahahahahhah……
but honestly, I
congratulate JOHNNY DEPP to finally voice the truth and win his case,I remember watching him on the stand take in
every word he said with sincerity,I am
a fan and will always be!!
Congrats JOHNNY!!!! Can’t
wait to see more of your movies!!!
Here goes another personal post, I’m pretty sure most of
parents with teens would truly relate to this, if not, then continue reading and
get a little something from this post.
I started to notice my teenage kids listening to music which
is of different language, I find it strange because not a single word I
understand from the entire song yet my kids are enjoying it!! they listen to this KPOP music which is musical genre that is
a mix of genres such as electronic, hip-hop, rock and R&B music and most of it is in Korean language (that’s why it’s
KPOP …) ,
At first
(With no exaggeration), I started to panic becoz how can my kids enjoy something
they don’t understand at all.. It might be a cult or something…….
But I can tell it is
really something special for them because I’ve seen their happiness just by
listening to the music, they love it so much that every time they are with their
friends and cousins, the whole topic is all about the KPOP all day..all
night !! And they are calling themselves
as ARMIES!! (Imagine they have a code for fans)
So being the stalker and curios mom, I get to work and
research about this so called Kpop and I was beyond belief how influential are
these KPOP group in this generationand
even to say, to all the generations (including
the generation which I belong….the secret generation lols). I started looking into different profiles of
these Kpop group (from EXo,
BTS,Blackpink, Shinee, nct, boyz, super junior,2ne1, twice, red velvet, many
more…..)
It appeals to me more and more knowing what kpop is all about, it’s beginning and how it
is formulated into a group (the road to become an idol/ kpop artist is not easy!!)
, it’s a long process and hard work, but what excite me the most is that, they
have this kind of cuteness and happy image where just by watching them you forget
all your worries, they look so
perfectly cute, neat and colorful, overjoyed with so much energy as they are
not just cute faces they are absolutely multi-talented and physically stunning.
Moving forward…. I now understand why my kids are really
into the KPOP,this is part of the NORMS
in this generation, adding to that, I found myself started to enjoy and liking their music, I’m not being biased but each and everykpop group has their own sets of fan base and
they are all amazing, everyone I know (including my kids) really loves BTS and
Blackpink which are currently the most hip and famous among all, but this KPOP group called EXO is amazingly great!!
They are like a perfect combo of talents from vocal, to dancing and honestly
good looking. Their music is really good
it’s a mix of old school and trendy new style with powerful vocals, (again, I’m not biased please don’t hate me
armies and blinks, I’m old school…..)
I told
my kids about it and they were very appreciative of my effort in getting to
know their idols, but actually, I have a lot of fun doing it!! I was laughing
all the way watching all Kpop videos in their funny moments and overly impressed
on every Kpop performance. And for the
first time ever, I can really relate to all my kids kpop-teen-related-
conversation….
And also, It’s really good to know, that the middle east has
welcome this KPOP ERA into their culture, of course, social medias plays an
important roles and the massive demands of live kpop performances in the world
is indeed unbelievable, imagine, Saudi Arabia as one of the very conservative
country in the GCC and in Dubai was able to held a concert that includes famous Kpop –BTS, EXO, and so on , in a very huge number of audience. That is to say, that KPOP is not just
Kpop it is a trend that makes our teens really into it and we as parents has to
be in the position where we can support our kids and hold into a certain limit. There
is always a line crossing being a fan and obsession, it is important for us
parents to know where our kids stand.
Children now a days, are very smart, confident, matured and tends
to be always into the gadgets with very less socialization, more to say that
the rate of teen suicide cases are increasing by day, so let’s be the parents that we
can be for our kids, let’s enjoy Kpop the way our kids enjoy it while we
nurtured them with everything they need to learn in life.
Balance is the key!
So till here, I still have to continue watching the EXO
concert in japan (throwback Thursday that is!!) … drop me a mesg if you feel

It’s been awhile after coming back in Kuwait from Singapore, I have craved ramen or soup that has this authentic Chinese taste.
Been searching over the net for ramen at first but it’s a bit expensive and far from my area, until, sissy-in-law mentioned that there is a china hotpot restaurant that served authentic Chinese Shabu-Shabu, So I did not waste time and headed to the place with hubby and landed in the small place of CHINA HOT POT next to Dream inn hotel in Salmiya, the place is very small far from my expectations but the food particularly their Two-Way pot soup brings heaven on earth, it’s absolutely the soup to die for (hahaha) it’s overly yummy!!
They have variety of dishes on their menu but I would suggest to go straight on their KD 12/- Two-Way Hotpot (value meal 6 dish ingredients of your choice).
For the people who knows me well…Thank you for all your support and for your
continuing visit to this site, I may not be able to update this from time to
time, rest assure that in my heart, I know, I need to find the space and time to do this
blog of my lifehehehehehe…… so ok,
enough with the drama!!
Life they say is a mixture of Failures and success, we all go
thru the process of failures and for sure, we all have that moment of happiness
due to great success. I chatted with a
friend the other day, it’s amazing how time flies, when we are in college we
used to talk about projects, program codes (yeah!!! I’m one of them peace!!),
fashion, events, food and anything alike. This time, we are much into
households, raising up kids, business and so on… she asked me, how I am able to
manage a very busy household, 3 kids and having a top position at work.
Hmmmm…… actually, I’m a superwoman, I acquired a
great powers from my ancestor who has given me a stone to swallow whenever, I
needed a boost of energy and to be in places in one time !! That’s my secret…!!
(bwahahaha….) and I seriously wish I
have the stone haaayyyyyy…… my goodness!!
Kidding aside!!
Honestly, I am able to iron things out by simply going into the process of trials, failures and
struggles from that, I created a better logistics and make it
work.
Always remember to seek advice from those who mastered the challenges in life than to those who uses the experiences of others. There's a difference between being a witness and being in the actual situation when all your life lines are out and you are in face
of your own egg crying out loud wanting something you do not understand.
Life is all about balance, compromise and adjusting into the
hard times, it’s like experiencing emotional pain, it’s inside of
you, it hurts, you can’t make it go away in an instant but in time you’ll know how
to live with it!!
In life, there is nothing we can’t do!!! Humans just like you
and me are created with a highest forms of intelligence, use it in a way to
make your life better and a fulfilling one!!
I don’t consider myself as Tech-Savvy but I’m doing my best to get into the trend, I was at the student center a week ago to have a photocopies of my passport, needless to say, I was overwhelmed with the surrounding and I would really want to own a business that offers the same services but better environment in the future or perhaps tomorrow (I’m not in hurry bwahahahaha!!)
As I entered the shop, There was only one service crew in the counter area who do all the services from photocopying, laminating, faxing and so on… he was entirely loaded with the demands from all of us but he keeps his temper aside and show his smile instead but not until, a certain woman get into the picture, she was in a bad mood to begin with, talking to the service crew in her loud voice that she wanted to print something from her mobile.
The guy in the counter patiently told her to send it to their e-mail address pointing to the monitor in front of the lady so he can print. However, the lady started to get mad like a crazy lady shouting to her highest tone, saying, why it needs to be send by e-mail where he can just take her mobile instead and print, she insist that she don’t know how to use the e-mail, she do not have internet and she cannot send by e-mail, (but I remember hearing a phone call in viber tone on her phone)
I’m actually in a mode of silent, trying to keep myself in proper state of mind, The service crew continue to entertain other customers while the lady started using her phone to call her contacts and saying really nasty words, you can see the hesitation from other customers looking at her, after a few minutes this lady, when back in front of the counter and give the phone to the service crew, she was telling him it is his job and she want him to do it for her….
I was out of the shop after that and I really don’t know how to end the story but somehow, I pity the lady, I feel that when you have the latest gadgets in your hand and lots of money in your wallet, I guess, it is wise to invest a little for your brain to work and an attitude to go with it!!!
To the crew, I applaud you for being patient, you’ve done a great job!!! And I’m proud of you KABAYAN!!!!
